The Gypsy Jill Project is a photographic book journeying with a 25+ yr veteran tattoo artist and the people and the lives she touched. Gypsy Jill had a healing effect on those she tattooed in all forms but her specialty was scar cover-ups, she turned trauma into beauty and acceptance. Gypsy Jill passed on too soon before she was able to see her ultimate plans through to the finish - healing by helping pregnant women in recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction. Through the Gypsy Jill Project we aim to continue her work and biggest desire by helping pregnant women in recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction by donating the proceeds from this book towards the programs that assist these women in need. In order to help continue her biggest dream, the Gypsy Jill Project is seeking out her clients contributions in photographic form of the art she created and the experience they had with this healing woman. Contributions needed are: ~ A photograph of the art she created* Photographs needs to be 300 dpi, and 3x4 or larger, in jpeg, tif, png, gif, or bmp formats. ~ Writings, a short one or two paragraph about the experience they had with this healing woman. Information/Release forms:  Entry and Photographic Gypsy Jill gave her light and soul to the art she created both in traditional art forms and through the non-traditional medium of the human skin, and we wish to honor her memory and help those she wanted to help the most. If you are a former client of Gypsy Jill, (in all art forms – tattoo, paintings, etc.), and wish to be a part of this project, please contact us for more information on how to contribute to the Gypsy Jill Project.  I wish to thank her husband Charles for his permission, blessings, and contributions to this project in his wife’s name.
